Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location of the motel was convenient and a very short drive from McDonald’s and Tim Hortons as well as groceries. It had a small fridge, microwave, and TV with a decent assortment of channels. The room itself is clean and the property well-maintained. No frills but very good value for money.

Negative: We liked that there was laminate flooring supposed to carpet, but that also made it very cold on the feet. Slippers will be recommended if we return. The room was also quite dark with poor lighting. When we arrived at 2 PM I asked for early check-in And we were told no with no explanation. Just “no”. The room was perfect for two people but anymore and it would’ve been cramped. There was very little places to hang things up with only one hanger in the closet area and the entrance could use a larger rug, especially for the winter.

Summary: Excellent value for money. The room was spotless and perfect for two people.
