This spacious turn of the century shingle-style cottage is set with a westerly view overlooking Blue Hill Bay just steps from the water at the head of the cove, with deeded access for kayaking and beachcombing along the inner reaches of Seal Cove. The private setting includes lawn and gardens with a backdrop of wood and meadows. Located on the westerly side of Mount Desert Island, the cottage is close to Acadia National Park. Close by are some great trails including Acadia Mountain, Seawall, Western Mountain and access to Seal Cove Pond. From the Cottage it is only a few minutes to Southwest Harbor and twenty-five minutes to Bar Harbor. We know you will enjoy the quietude and privacy of the western side of the island.
