Walking distance to downtown, town pool and park. We lovingly restored & renovated this home and brought her back to life, come be part of yesteryear. Charming porches, large rooms, tall ceilings, gorgeous wood floors and gas fireplace all will make you feel like you’re home. There are two large bedrooms with new queen mattresses and luxurious sheets. The cottage is 1500 sq ft, giving you plenty of living space. New upscale furniture for a modern flair, a 43 inch smart tv, 4K, internet and a pretty desk in the office room, a stack washer and dryer. Updated and Renovated to fit a need to have all family members included on vacation, even those with mobility problems. The larger bath has been built with handicap amenities, grab bars, low profile step in shower with a moveable shower chair, handheld adjustable shower head, as well as a stationary shower head.There is a wheelchair ramp to the deck with French doors into the kitchen, granite and Italian tile in the kitchen, jalousie windows on the 4 season porch on the back. (wheelchair may not fit through the door to this porch. This back door & the front door were not able to be widened during the renovation). A large side deck with a table for 4, gas grill with propane tank overlooking our pretty yard with majestic shade trees to enjoy nature.House is equipped with all necessary cooking supplies, dishes, drink & wine glasses, gas BBQ grill, coffee maker, waffle maker,toaster, and microwave. Coffee, teas, sugars, creamer, laundry soap, cleaning supplies are also provided. Farm fresh eggs can be purchased and provided if you let me know. Walking distance to Main Street, Gordonsville, historically known as the “Fried Chicken Capital - where people use to sell fried chicken to the Train passengers, Yes, Gordonsville has train tracks, and hopefully in the future a train stop. Gordonsville is also short drive to Montpelier, Barboursville vineyard, Keswick, Charlottesville, and Culpeper.
