Peaceful and relaxing: our cottage in the woods will allow you to decompress in nature. On a semi-private lake, you will be very comfortable in this 2 bedroom cabin. Each bedroom has a double bed, with 2 bunk beds in each room. Huge 325 acre property with trails, ideal for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. The cabin has 2 indoor wood burning stoves for relaxation and heat in the winter. Fully equipped kitchen, shower (3 season) with towels and pull out futon in the solarium.

Important to note that the toilet is outside (outhouse) and electricity is provided by a generator (yes, it can be a little noisy). The generator is easy to start, and easy to shut off. We usually only start it about 2hrs/day as the cabin has gaz lighting indoors as well.
Fridge is propane, with a 12 volt (and solar powered) battery. The fridge is small, so you will need to be strategic about the space in the fridge.
Please keep in mind that this is an off-grid cabin, with comfort. This cabin is ideal to relax, wifi detox and to bring you peace and quiet for a relaxing time. But our cabin is not a full scale cottage, and far from the Hilton-like cottages available. If you have cottage-like expectations for your rental, please do not rent our cabin as we want you to have a great time during your rental.
