Summary: We were checked in and unpacked when we discovered our bathroom had not been cleaned….dirty wet towel, open soap. It took a hour to have someone come clean the bathroom which took about five minutes…so that’s not a proper clean. No apologies were given for the inconvenience. We received no daily housekeeping for the three days we were there. Complimentary breakfast was horrible, something wrong with the waffle mix, when we asked why it wasn’t rising, we got the reply we hadn’t cooked it enough…and the attendant left the room. I had to dig the flat waffles out of the maker because they did not rise and we’re starting to burn on the side that they were poured in on. Tables needed to be washed down and buffet area needed to be cleaned up. The grounds of the hotel needed attention, weeds needed to be pulled and cleaned up. We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years with the previous owners which gave us better service, better food and overall just a nicer place to stay. Very disappointed to see a nice hotel loose its standard of service and care.
