Summary: There’s always a fine line between good and excellent and for a small town this was a good choice. I checked in late but it was no problem. The lady in the office was accommodating and efficient to get me checked in. It’s an older property as most of these small town motels are but I’m keen on supporting locally owned businesses. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. I wouldn’t let it stop me to stay in an older property. We need to support local businesses. I read all the reviews and wasn’t put off by the more negative ones. I sometimes think people have way too high expectations. I recommend this as a place to stop for the night and get a good rest. The town itself has few amenities but kapuskasing is under an hour before and Cochrane is 25 minutes. So try it out.
