A custom built home located on the shore of the Pend Oreille River. The home sits on nearly 2 acres. When you walk inside, you are greeted with a view of the water. The large open Great room, kitchen and dining room is the perfect setting for family gatherings. The massive dining room table sits 10 with additional bar stool seating. A large sectional 'L' shaped sofa pays homage to a natural stone gas fireplace. The great room would not be complete without the 65 inch Smart TV and surround sound.
3 large bedrooms are located on the main floor. The master suite features a king size bed, smart tv, walk-in closet and private bath with double sinks and a 2 person shower. Guest bedroom #2 has a queen size bed and a view of the river. Guest bedroom #3 has a queen size bed and shares a 'Jack-and-Jill' full bathroom with bedroom #2. The 'Jack-and-Jill' bathroom has 2 sinks and a 5'6" cast iron tub/shower. Main floor laundry room and half bath off the kitchen. Upstairs you'll find a 4th bedroom consisting of 3 sets of bunk beds with full size mattresses, smart tv, a big closet and a full bath. An additional 1/2 bath is located upstairs plus a loft area with sectional sofa, smart tv, foosball table, and table to play games.
The backside of the home features a wall of windows and a large glass slider door. A large partially covered patio extends the full width of the back of the home. Located on the patio is a gas bbq, hot tub, gas fire pit and outdoor furniture. There is a paved ramp to the walkway leading to a private beach and dock.
The massive heated garage has room for 2 large suv/trucks and has a folding ping pong table. There is additional paved parking located at the entrance of the driveway. Sorry no Trailers, RV's, Boats, etc. allowed to park onsite. For storage of trailer, ect. during your stay please contact owner for parking options. Parking on street is not allowed.
Dover Bay is a great place to enjoy the outdoors with access to bike/walking paths and water sports. The home includes 8 bicycles, 4 paddle boards, 4 sit-on-top kayaks, and 1 sit-on-top double kayak to use during your stay.
We are located 4 miles from downtown Sandpoint. Walk or bike the paths around the community as well as the path connecting to Sandpoint. Schweitzer Mountain Resort is a 25 minute drive where you can enjoy skiing, mountain biking, and hiking. This luxury home is great for families, friends and active people looking to enjoy all the area has to offer.
Note 1: Home has external security cameras mounted to cover the perimeter of the outside of the home. There are no cameras or recording devices inside the home. Dover Bay hosts weddings and other functions at the Barn, but this home is private and does not allow any weddings, receptions or large groups outside of the maximum number of 12 people allowed. Dover bay does not allow on street parking. Thank you.
Note 2: Instant online reservation during the summer high demand weeks are only available Saturday to Saturday only unless there is a 7 nite opening prior or following a previously approved reservation that does not fit the Saturday to Saturday schedule. Instant reservation are in 7 nite stay increments during the high season summer months unless visitor has prior approval. If you have any special request for reservations please do not hesitate to ask. Please contact us to discuss needed dates, especially during our busy summer months.

Some Christmas and New Years dates need to be modified since cleaning crews schedules may not accommodate dates requested. Please verify prior to making a reservation. Rentals require a 7 night minimum stay increment and will need to have prior approval if your reservation runs between dates of Dec 20 - Jan 2nd dates

We as owners that choose to rent our private home would like our visitors to treat and enjoy our home with the same care and respect as we do ourselves.

We have strict safety and HOA rules we intend to follow and therefore, the number of 12 occupants/onsite maximum and types of vehicles parked onsite are strictly enforced. We do not wish to charge a fee for those violations, but this is our only deterrent from this happening and unfortunately some do not adhere to the rules. We have neighbors as well that we need to respect.
