This family-friendly cottage is tucked away on 5 acres of oceanfront property overlooking the mouth of Lunenburg harbour. You will feel a sense of privacy in this "home away from home", far from any noisy roads. Suitable for families of up to 6 people, there are three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Here you will be within easy driving distance to amenities, beautiful beaches, Lunenburg, Halifax and the charming seaside towns that Nova Scotia is famous for.
This heritage cottage is full of old-world character with high ceilings and large windows. The main floor boasts a large, bright living room with plush furnishings. The adjoining kitchen was designed to take advantage of the views across the field to the water beyond. The kitchen is fully equipped and invites you to socialize while preparing any meal of the day. There is a large dining room with a table and seating for 8. The bookshelf in the corner doubles as a secret door leading to the spacious master bedroom. You will sleep well in the comfortable king sized bed and enjoy the convenience of a two piece ensuite bathroom.
Upstairs there are two more bedrooms; one with a queen sized bed and the other with two twin beds. A four piece bathroom, with corner jet tub and shower are shared by these rooms. There is also a four piece bathroom on the main level.
You will enjoy 480 feet of oceanfront that wraps the large grassy field, dotted with apple trees. The flat, natural stone beach is great for swimming or launching a kayak. At the far end of the field, from the top of the bluff, is the perfect place to relax and watch boats and even whales pass by. The Bluenose II is a common sight during the summer months.
