Neighborhood description:
The home is located in a suburb of north-east Carlsbad, less than 3 miles from the beach. Located on a quiet cup-de-sac street with only 12 homes, there is little noise to disturb you. The neighborhood is upscale, and the neighbors are mostly older singles and middle aged families.
Getting around:
Most people in Carlsbad own or lease a car. Public transportation is not the best, as the buses run hourly. There is a bus stop at the end of the street that will take to you the train station just a couple of miles away, or up or down the coast. Most guests who do not have cars use Uber or Lyft, the ride sharing apps. A car can be here in minutes to take you anywhere. The house is located within walking distance to the grocery stores, 12 flex movie theater, 24-hour fitness, many restaurants and coffee shops. Each is less than one mile way, about a 10 minute walk. But keep in mind, I live on a hill, and coming home is harder than getting there!
