This property is all new construction, with an elegantly designed guest house, on a beautiful gated 3.5 acre estate; surrounded by Pecan orchards in the fertile farming valley of the Rio Grande area of Las Cruces. Guest amenities include full use of the pool house and outdoor kitchen. This listing is specifically for the rental of the "Entire Guest House" Casita. We live in the "Main House" on the same property. The only shared spaces are the outdoor amenities.
No one under the age of 25 is allowed to book the use of these properties.
If you are in need of a smaller space, yet desire the luxury, elegance and amenities of a large estate, you have found the right place. This estate is all new construction and consists of a large main house, guest house and a 1000 sq ft outdoor kitchen and pool house. Elegant Mediterranean landscaping, with stone walls, encloses these three structures forming a beautiful rear yard; ensuring privacy from the rest of the 3.5 acre property.
From the gated entrance to the sculpted concrete driveways, this property will welcome you. With over 2 acres of lawns, large fruit orchard/vineyard, large outdoor vegetable garden, winter green house and the surrounding properties being almost completely covered in pecan orchards; it truly is a little piece of paradise.
The guest house, which is where you will be staying, is best suited for only two adults and two youth, but often is still used for 4 Adults. There are two bedrooms, but the 2nd is a "open loft style" located upstairs, with the stair access to it inside the 1st bedroom. Please view pictures for details. This upstairs bedroom is larger than the one below, but only has a short 5 ft ceiling. Adults must "duck" when utilizing this space. Many adults book this and find the upstairs very acceptable for the additional sleeping space they need. This 2nd bedroom has two twin beds. The guest house is all new construction, with new appliances, granite tops, new furniture and fresh coffee. We provide WiFi and only Netflix for tv viewing. Again, upstairs is a short 5 foot height. Guests are invited to enjoy the "shared amenities" of the private rear courtyard, outdoor kitchen and pool house. This includes a new kitchen with granite tops, gas grill, large fireplace, and a hot tub and Exercise Swimming Pool . What is seen in the pictures is what is available. The fireplace is not for guest use. The view and atmosphere, sitting and soaking, just cannot be beat. These "shared" amenities may also be in use by my wife and I or other guests.
For those that smoke, we have provided a table and chairs, outside the rear courtyard, for your leisure and convenience.
We live on site in the main house, as such, we are there for your questions or help, but we have no desire to disturb your peaceful time here.
We pride ourselves on providing a clean and professional atmosphere for Adults and mature youth to come, rest and relax in the quite peace of the property. We would ask all guests to respect this; so it can be exactly that for other guests and hosts.
PLEASE NOTE, THIS RENTAL IS FOR THE ENTIRE GUEST HOUSE ON THE PROPERTY, WE LIVE IN THE MAIN HOUSE ON THE SAME PROPERTY.
Absolutely No events or parties are allowed at this property. Only the guests registered with the host are allowed on this property, no visitors, no extra people, no exceptions. No one under 25 years of age is allowed to book this property. The number of people and the activities of guests are monitored by on-site owners and video. We pride ourselves in providing a professional adult atmosphere for all; Nothing less is tolerated. We want it clear that we will know what is taking place and you will be removed immediately if rules are broken. If you are honest, responsible adults, you will understand our concerns and appreciate that we try to maintain a professional property; You have nothing to worry about and will enjoy a nice peaceful stay. Please note check in time is 4 PM, with check out promptly at 11AM.
No Smoking Allowed…..smoking is only permitted in the smoking area OUTSIDE the rear courtyard, through the rear gate. There is a sitting area there for your leisure and convenience. Please dispose of your cigarette butts in the cream butt can provided for you. Large penalties will be accessed for smoking in any other location.
No illegal activity of any kind is allowed on the property. If guests are suspected of this, including any drug use, they will be asked to leave immediately.
No candles or flames of any kind are allowed inside the main house or in the Casita.
No pets are allowed anywhere on the property.
No loud music is permitted at any time and Quite Hours begin at 10PM
Do not use the bathroom towels for the pool area. Pool towels are provided in the pool area. They are located in the cabinet next to the undercounter fridge.
Internet is provided and Netflix is the only TV viewing option provided.
The Pool House and its Amenities are also provided for the use of the guests; please follow rules for such. This area is a shared area between all guests and hosts. Please be considerate of everyone.
For the safety of all guests, there is NO GLASSWARE, allowed in the pool area.
Any sexual activity in the pool area is strictly prohibited.
The Grill is allowed on a first come basis. Please ask for instructions on this prior to use.
Fireplace not available to guests. We are sorry, but other guests have ruined that privilege
Pool House hours are from 6 AM to 11 PM. There is NO loud music permitted at any time and quiet hours start at 10 PM.
As the final part of these rules/policies, You are agreeing that you have read the entire property listing and viewed all the pictures, prior to booking, and have a good understanding of what the expectations of this property are.
Upon receipt of your reservation, you will be sent an email that you are required to respond to prior to receiving your check in information. This email will request specific verification of your understanding of the property descriptions. We want everyone informed and happy.
For your safety and ours, after receipt of your check-in information, on the day of your arrival, you will be required to provide a general arrival time and the make and color of your vehicle/vehicles that we would expect to see on our property. We take security here seriously. Security Cameras are in use in all shared spaces. $500 fine, per occurrence, imposed for tampering with or covering cameras. Thanks
